Demonetization has hit State revenues: KTR

Hyderabad: Industries Minister K Tarakarama Rao on Saturday said that the State Government would solve the issues of teachers and said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao was committed for their welfare.

Speaking at the PRTU meeting in Ranga Reddy district, the minister said that the state government would soon solve the unified service rule which is long pending demand of teachers.

The minister said that teachers played a key role in the Telangana statehood movement and assured of all help.

The minister said that the Centre’s decision of demonetizing Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes has severely hit all sections and added that there has been steep fall in land registrations and other activities in the state due to the Centre’ move which has hit state’s revenues.

The minister said that he hoped the issue would be a temporary one and hoped that people would tide over the situation.

The minister said that the state government was clearing fee reimbursement and farm loan waiver in phased manner and accused the previous governments of passing the burden of debts on the TRS government.
