Hyderabad: 62nd Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee Meeting (DRUCC) of Hyderabad Division, South Central Railway was held today i.e., 09th August, 2018 at Divisional Railway Manager’s Conference Hall, Hyderabad Bhavan, Secunderabad chaired by Arun Kumar Jain, Divisional Railway Manager.
Hyderabad Divsion, N.Srinivasa Raju, Addl Divisional Railway manager/Operations, P.V.Saiprasad, Addl Divisional Railway manager/Infra, A.Sridhar Secretary & Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and other Branch Officers of Hyderabad Division were present in the meeting.
This is the Second meeting of the newly formed committee. Out of 13 nominated members, 08 members attended the meeting. G. Manohar Reddy was unanimously elected as ZRUCC member.
Arun Kumar Jain, highlighted the financial performance of the division during the current financial year 2018-19 and various development activities taken up over the division such as Divyang facilities, Bio toilets, 3 Lifts, Bucket type stainless steel water pedestal, Cherial Paintings and Solar Power plant at Kacheguda Railway Station,
NAVRAS App , Rail station info APP, Extension of Nizamabad Passenger to Karimnagar, Provision of Coach indication board at Dharmabad and Malkajgiri, RPF out post at Falaknuma for MMTS security, Extension of MMTS platform to accommodate 12 coaches, re-development of Kurnool City station, Electrification of Secunderabad – Bolarum section under MMTS Phase-II, were appraised.
Further, under Corporate Social Responsibility Hyderabad Division has adopted Gollapally village for development. The members appraised that Toilet facilities including Divyang will be extended to all the stations by the end of September, 2018
The members expressed their satisfaction over the developmental activities undertaken by the division and appreciated the efforts made for getting various works sanctioned.
They represented for provision of new lines, early introduction of MMTS Phase –II over Malkajgiri- Bolarum section, introduction of new trains, running of special trains during festival season, extension of trains up to Karimnagar, stoppage of trains at Bolarum , Malkajgiri, Shadnagar etc.
