Dy CM stresses on united fight against inequalities

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari on Friday said that it was the responsibility of every individual in the state to fight against inequalities and other social evils in the state.

He said that it was a matter of great concern that various social evils like child labour still exists in the society even after over 60 years of country’s independence.

Speaking at the Golden jubilee Celebrations of Roda Mistry College here,

the Deputy CM lauded the efforts of the college founder Mistry saying that she had established the college to teach various courses on social engineering aiming at eradicating social inequalities in the state.

The minister said that Mistry had foresightedness as it was evident that the college launched Social Work course even before the Osmania University launched it.

Srihari said that the various projects taken up by the college were proving beneficial to both the State and the Central governments. (INN)
