Dy Mayor inaugurates Rose Garden at Lakdikapul

Hyderabad: GHMC Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin on Saturday inaugurated a Rose Garden at Lakdikapul Junction in the presence of Khairtabad MLA Chinthala Ramchandra Reddy and Area Corporator Vijaya Reddy. The Rose Garden has been developed by GHMC Urban Biodiversity authorities.

The Deputy Mayor, while addressing the gathering after the inauguration, said the Rose Garden was developed at the Lakdikapul Junction, opposite Dwarka Hotel, in the same place where once the police out post existed.

He informed that a parapet wall around was constructed with steel railing and tiling was done for foot path. An existing transformer was also shifted. A Rose Cascade and Fountain has been constructed with changing color lights.

The entire area has been beautified with different seasonal flowers. This has been developed with a cost of Rs 30 lakhs in total with lighting around, he said.

Chintala Ramchandra Reddy and Vijaya Reddy Corporator praised the efforts made by the officials to develop this Rose Garden in a short period of time.

Zonal Commissioner C N Raghu Prasad and other senior officials were also present. (INN)
