Girls outperform boys in SSC supplementary exams in TS

Hyderabad: About 61.27% candidates have cleared the SSC Advanced Supplementary exams whose results were announced here on Sunday.

Speaking after releasing the results, School Education incharge Director Dr. Ashok informed that girls have outperformed boys in the exams.

As against the boys’ pass percentage 60.06%, nearly 62.79% girls have cleared the exams. Of 95,736 registered candidates, a total of 58,661 passed the exams.

Warangal was on top with a pass percentage of 88.49% followed by Nalgonda (82.03%), Mahabubnagar (71.35%); Nizamabad (68.25%), Khammam (61.27%), Medak (60.17%), Ranga Reddy (59.40%), Karimnagar (58.05%), Hyderabad (55.91%) and Adilabad (53.62%). (INN)
