Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrashekar Rao said that he was going to battlefield with the blessings of the Konaipally village.
The TRS Chief addressed the people after performing pooja at Konaipally Venkateshwar swamy temple. He reiterated the claim that TRS would win 100 seats.
He promised to wash the feet of Sri Venkateshwara Swamy varu with water from Kaleshwaram project in another one year.
He said that he was indebted to the people of Konaipally for the success of TRS. He said that Telangana was the only state in the country to provide 24 hour free power to the farmers.
TRS Chief K Chandrashekar Rao performed special pooja at Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple at Konaipally.
Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao and other TRS leaders were also present during the occasion. The chief minister reached the Konaipally village at around 11.30 and took part in the pooja.
The TRS chief has sentiments attached with this temple as he visits to the temple before taking up any work.
The TRS chief filed nomination at 2.34 pm at Gajwel RDO office. The nomination process was simple as the TRS chief asked the party leaders not to come and wanted only few people to accompany him in the nomination process.
