Governor, CM greets people on Deepavali

Hyderabad: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan has extended warm greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the occasion of Deepavali festival

“The festival of lights signifies the victory of right over the evil. I am sure occasions like these inspire us to conquer the evils of modern day and build a society in which peace, amity and communal harmony prevails,” the Governor said on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has greeted people on the occasion of Deepavali festival. He desired that the festival of lamps should bring in new light into the lives of the people.

He prayed to the God that the Telangana state should be on the development path and people should lead their lives with happiness and contentment. (INN)
