Governor flags off Amberpet-LB Nagar Metro line

Hyderabad: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan flagged off the Ameerpet-LB Nagar Metro line from Ameerpet, Hyderabad on Monday.

The Governor later traveled from Ameerpet to LB Nagar by Metro. The Governor, speaking at a meeting organised at LB Nagar Metro Station, set the target for completion of Hitech City Metro line as December, 2018.

He said that it is the responsibility of travelers to ensure cleanliness at Metro stations in the city.

The Governor got off the Metro at Khairatabad Metro station and commuted to Raj Bhavan by smart bicycle.

Caretaker Ministers K. Tarakarama Rao, Nayini Narasimha Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and T. Padma Rao Goud, MPs Bandaru Dattatreya, Malla Reddy and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Ram Mohan, Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi and other officials and non-officials have participated in the programme.
