Governor plants a sapling at Raj Bhavan

Hyderabad: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan called upon the people to take up the green initiatives in a big way and make the State greener.

“We need to protect the environment and ecological balance that is essential for the survival of mankind on the planet,” she added.

The Governor planted a sapling near the iconic Durbar Hall at the Raj Bhavan, here, on Monday.

She directed the staff to ensure the best possible greenery in the Raj Bhavan complex.

Secretary to Governor K. Surendra Mohan, Joint Secretaries J. Bhavani Shankar and CN Raghu Prasad, Liaison Officer Ch. Seetaramulu and others were present. (INN)
