Govt. School students win 4 Gold, 2 Silver medals in International Karate Championship, Malaysia

Hyderabad: The students of social and tribal welfare residential educational institutions societies have proved their mettle in International Karate championship held in Malaysia by bagging a total of 4 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals.

Poor girls from Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe backgrounds overcame massive odds to emerge as victorious in international karate championship and they conclusively proved that if opportunities are provided poverty is not an impediment to success.

The TSWREIS Secretary Dr RS Praveen Kumar congratulated the winners and expressed his happiness over the fact young girls from humble family backgrounds crossing the Indian geographical boundaries and coming out with flying colours in karate championships.
