Haj pilgrims advised to stay healthy, fit

Hyderabad: Telangana State Haj Committee chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan has advised the Haj pilgrims to stay fit, healthy and try to walk at least 3 Kms daily which would eventually help them at the time of performing Haj.

The Chairman was addressing the third Haj Orientation Training Camp for the selected pilgrims of Haj-2018 at Amberpet Jama Masjid on Sunday.

Masiullah Khan requested the Haj pilgrims not to contact any middlemen and stay in direct touch with the staff of Haj Committee on matters pertaining to their pilgrimage.

TSHC Executive Officer Prof. S A Shukoor briefed the Haj pilgrims on important points to be remembered during the departure and stay in Saudi Arabia. He also informed that the selection of Khadim-ul-Hujjaj will be done shortly with one Khadim-ul-Hujjaj for every 200 Haj pilgrims.

He said that the process for selection of Haj pilgrims in Rubath Category will be done only for the Haj pilgrims who applied for Haj-2018 in Azizia Category.

Eminent religious scholars delivered the lectures on Manasik-e-Haj and Ziyarat-e-Madina Munawwara and on Haj rituals. (INN)
