Hyderabad City Police launches free last ride service

Hyderabad: On Monday the City Police unveiled their free ‘Last Ride Program’ for the city’s transportation of Covid and non-Covid-19 bodies.

City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said the initiative would be launched and the service will be extended to the vulnerable and needy. The service will be run jointly by the Hyderabad City Police and ‘Help the Poor’ organisation.

“The body should be moved to the destination according to medical procedure. The vehicle must be hygienized after every ride. The vehicle will come with a driver and an assistant wearing PPE kits, “Anjani Kumar said.

Thanking the group ‘Feed the Needy’ for coming forward, the Commissioner said they should call 7995404040 or 8499843545 to avail the service. The service will be regular available from 8 am to 6 pm. (INN)
