A new Ideation Center was inaugurated at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University’s (JNTU) College of Engineering Hyderabad yesterday by JNTU Prof. N. Yadaiah.

The new Ideation Center will bring students with ideas and investors under one roof to incubate the possible business ventures, said Chandra Prakash Koyyada, President of JNTU Alumni Association.

Speaking on the occassion, Prof. Yadaiah recognized contribution of alumni in making a difference in strengthening university’s ranking. He added that the industry-institute interactions play a prominent role in the university’s ranking.

He called it “a good step from the alumni” and remarked that the university will extend necessary support to the industry-institute partnership and bridge the gap between industry and academia.

Prof Govardhan lauded the alumni for their pro-activeness and putting in time and efforts required for establishing the Ideation Center in the Computer Science & Engineering department building.

Addressing the gathering at the inauguration, JUNTU Alumni Association Joint Secretary Ms Bhargavi Nuvvula informed that the goal of the ideation center is to nurture leadership and research mindset in the students with an obvious secondary benefit of employability into top companies.
