Hyderabad: South Central Railway General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav advised the officials to focus on improving the punctuality of passenger trains and Freight Loading while giving priority to safety.
He conducted detailed review meeting on Safety, Punctuality and Freight loading on Monday at Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad along with Principal Heads of Departments.
The Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all six divisions i.e. Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur and Nanded attended the meeting through video conference.
Vinod Kumar Yadav conducted a detailed review of all the safety measures to be taken to ensure safety of train operations.
He advised the officials to keep continuous focus on the improvement of infrastructure facilities related to safe running of trains including Yard remodeling, track renewal works, Station redevelopments works, construction of Foot Over Bridges, High level Platforms.
He also instructed all the Divisional Railway Managers to monitor the works on provision of 100feet National flag at nominated stations. He advised the officials to plan the works accordingly.
He also reviewed the division wise progress of the works related to Provision of Divyangjan toilets and elimination of unmanned level crossings over the zone and instructed to expedite the works.
Additional General Manger John Thomas and other senior officials were present in the meeting.
