Warangal: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari said that the State Government was giving priority to impart quality education in the state and has undertaken various initiatives in this direction.
He said that the discipline and education was vital in life.
Speaking at the 3rd national convention of SWAEROES in Warangal, Srihari said that the state government has decided to run 250 residential schools for students from Backward Communities in the state.
He also said that 90 additional residential schools for minorities would start functioning from next academic year.
He lauded the efforts of SWAEROES secretary Praveen Kumar saying that he was instrumental in devising strategies for residential school for the SC,STs and backward communities. (INN)
