Hyderabad: A delegation from Karnataka State visited Hyderabad to study the schemes being implemented by the Telangana Government welfare of minorities in the State.
Retired IAS and former chairman of Karnataka State Urdu Academy Azeezullah Baig along with other members of the delegation met Minorities Welfare Department Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel at his chambers on Monday.
Urdu Academy Director Prof. S.A. Shukoor and other officials were also present on the occasion.
Telangana officials briefed the Karnataka delegation on various schemes for minorities’ welfare and told them that the success rate of almost all the schemes was very high. (INN)
