KCR condoles Jayalalithaa’s death

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao expressed his shock over the demise of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.

KCR said that her followers and admirers regarded her as ‘Puratchi Thalavi’ meaning revolutionary leader. He said Jayalalithaa was the political heir of great Tamil icon MG Ramachandran.

“In her passing, the state of Tamil Nadu had a great void which is difficult to fill in.

It was a great loss to Tamil society,” the Chief Minister said. He described Jayalalithaa as the unique person in Tamil Nadu politics to have won the assembly elections consecutively for two terms. He expressed condolences to the people of Tamil Nadu. (INN)
