Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and his Maharashtra counterpart Devendra Fadnavis will sign the historic agreement on construction of irrigation projects on inter-State borders on Tuesday.
KCR, along with Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao and senior officials, will sign the agreement with Devender Fadnavis at a function to be held in Mumbai at 3 PM on Tuesday.
The agreements will be for construction of barrages and completion of others works pertaining to various irrigation projects.
Meanwhile, the TRS has decided to celebrate the signing of historic pact. Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav informed that the Chief Minister and his team would be given a rousing reception at Begumpet Airport on August 24. He said that the agreement would benefit lakhs of farmers in five districts of Telangana State. (INN)
