KCR not sincere in providing quota to Muslims: TDP

Hyderabad: TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah on Thursday accused the TRS government of trying to wash off its hands by passing a resolution in the Assembly favouring 12% reservation to Muslims and then forwarding the proposal to the Centre.

Speaking to media persons here, Veeraiah said that the TRS government was not sincere in providing quota to Muslims and was shying from its responsibility. The TD MLA demanded the CM to lead an all party delegation to the Centre to press for SC categorization.

Expressing doubts on the double bedroom house scheme, the TDP leader said that about 12 lakh people applied for double bed room housing scheme but the government trimmed it to just 52,000, while denying the benefits for the rest.
