KCR promises equal growth opportunities for all

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao said that his government was committed to provide equal opportunities for growth of all communities in Telangana State.

Addressing the fourth Telangana Formation Day celebrations at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad on Saturday, KCR said that the State Government has been exploring new means to increase State’s revenues and the same was being spent on various communities and sections in an equitable manner.

KCR claimed that the TRS Government has not only fulfilled all the electoral promises within four years, but also launched several new schemes. He said schemes like Shaadi Mubarak, Kalyana Laxmi, Mission Bagiratha, etc., were not electoral promises. But they were implemented to benefit the common man.

The Chief Minister said that Telangana has now emerged as a model State for the entire country. He said the State has achieved a growth rate of 21% in such a short span of time.

He said the law and order situation was exemplary. Several States have been studying various schemes of Telangana Government to implement the same in their respective States, he claimed.

KCR also gave a detailed account of various schemes and programmes, including Rythu Bandhu, being implemented by his government. He announced that the new insurance scheme for farmers would be implemented from 15th August.
