KCR strives for Muslims welfare: KTR

Hyderabad: Minister KT Rama Rao participated in a series of road shows in Maheshwaram and LB Nagar constituencies on November 23, 2018. TRS MLA candidates Teegala Krishna Reddy (Maheshwaram) and M Ram Mohan Goud (LB Nagar) participated in these road shows.

Huge crowds thronged the roadshow at Jalpally and Jillelaguda junction.

Minister made fun of the Congress – TDP alliance and said, “The TDP and Congress will have to spend their time playing the fiddle or the veena after elections. It is TRS who is going to win the elections.”

“The Congress and TDP who were seen as arch political rivals have joined hands now with the sole aim of grabbing the Chief Minister’s post, which will not happen,” Minister said.

Addressing the crowd at the Jalpally road show, he said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao never treated the Muslim community as a vote bank.

Besides distributing new clothes to poor Muslims during Ramzan, Rs 1.20 lakh is being spent on each student studying in minority residential schools across the State, he said.

Minister mentioned that Telangana was the only State in the country to have a Rs 2,000 Crore budget allocated for the Minorities Development Corporation. He said that during the Congress rule in United AP the budget for minorities was just 200 crores which have now increased 10 times.

At the Jillelaguda road show, Minister KTR promised to develop Maheshwaram constituency by bringing in new IT companies. He also said that Rs 23 crore was allocated for the beautification and cleansing of lakes in Maheshwaram.

Concluding his speech, the Minister cautioned that Congress will stoop down to any level to come into power. Minister KTR sought the support of the people and urged them to vote for TRS party’s Car Symbol in the upcoming elections. (INN)
