Hyderabad: The Economic Times has decided to confer the prestigious Economic Times Business Reformer of the year Award in favour of the Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao. The Times Group Managing Director Mr Vineet Jain wrote a mail to the CM in this regard.
The Honourable Chief Minister has consented and agreed to receive the award at the Awards programme scheduled for October 27, 2018 in Mumbai.
The Honourable Chief Minister accepting the award conferred on him thanked the Economic Times profusely and said, that, this is an Award not only to him but to the entire Telangana State.
The Chief Minister has recalled how the state has been consistently achieving record Revenue Growth rate during the previous four years at an average Growth rate of 17.17% per year. The CM also said that during the first five months of this financial year the state has achieved 21.96% Growth rate.
In his reply to email from the Times Group Managing Director, accepting the Award the Chief Minister said, that, the single widow TS iPass Industrial Policy has brought more than 7000 industries to the state providing large scale employment and huge investments.
The licences for these industries were given in a corruption free and hassle-free atmosphere. The CM also outlined the growth of Telangana in various developmental welfare activities which resulted in such Awards.
He said, that, Industrialists both within the country and abroad have all praised for Telangana. Even in Ease of doing business the Telangana State secured top rank. The CM also said, that, several new avenues have been opened in IT sector adding to the Revenue Growth rate of the state.
Finally, the CM once again thanked the Times Group Managing Director of Economic Times Mr Vineet Jain for conferring the Award.
