KCR will be buried in self-dug political grave on Dec 7: Uttam

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said that caretaker Chief Minister and TRS President K. Chandrashekhar Rao has dug his own political grave by dissolving Assembly nine months ahead of schedule and he would be buried in it by the Congress-led grand alliance on December 11.

He was speaking to media persons after flagging off the Indira Vijaya Ratham of former PCC President and ex-MP V. Hanumanth Rao at Gun Park on Thursday. Earlier, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Hanumantha Rao and other leaders paid floral tributes to the martyrs of Telangana at Martyrs’ Memorial.

AICC Secretaries N.S.Bose Raju, Srinivasan Krishnan, Hyderabad Congress president M. Anjan Kumar Reddy, MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy and other senior leaders were also present on the occasion.

Uttam Kumar Reddy said that KCR appears to be having sleepless nights ever since Congress, TDP and other parties have decided to come together in next elections. Out of frustration and fear of a humiliating defeat, KCR has been making baseless and senseless allegations against the opposition leaders.

Ridiculing KCR for calling TDP an Andhra party, he asked KCR to clarify as to why he inducted ex-TDP leaders Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Tummala Nageshwara Rao and Mahender Reddy into his cabinet.

He asked TRS leaders to specify whether any of these three ministers ever participated in Telangana stateood movement. He said KCR has accommodated almost all traitors of Telangana movement in his TRS party.

The TPCC chief also questioned the friendship between TRS and MIM. He pointed out that MIM was totally opposed to the formation of Telangana since beginning.

However, today KCR and Owaisi are best friends and their parties are allies. He asked KCR to clarify whether or not MIM had opposed Telangana and how he could have friendly ties with the same party now. Similarly, he said TRS had worked along on several occasions with the CPI (M) which was against Telangana.

Uttam Kumar Reddy also accused the TRS of having a secret alliance with the BJP. He said KCR did not pursue with the Centre on setting up of Railway Coach Factory at Kazipet, Steel Plant at Bayyaram or other promises made in the AP Reorganisation Act.

Similarly, the ITIR project, which was sanctioned by previous Congress-led UPA Government to create over 52 lakh jobs, remained a non-starter with BJP Government not giving funds and TRS remaining a mute spectator. He said KCR gave preference to his friendship with Prime Minister Narender Modi over the interest of Telangana.

“KCR himself did nothing for Telangana State. He did not fight with BJP Government at the Centre for funds or other projects to maintain secret friendship.

He completely crushed everyone who participated in Telangana movement and promoted all traitors of Telangana by giving them cabinet berths and other posts.

Dalits and Girijans were humiliated, implicated in false cases, handcuffed and chained. Sedition cases were booked against farmers who protested seeking remunerative prices for their farm produce,” he alleged while calling KCR as the ‘Villain No. 1’ and ‘Traitor No. 1’ of Telangana.

Uttam Kumar Reddy also praised VHR for launching the Indira Vijay Ratham and hoped that his initiative would help the Congress party win next elections.

He said Hanumantha Rao was among the senior most politicians in the State. Beginning his career from Youth Congress, Hanumantha Rao rose to the position of PCC President.

This time Hanumantha Rao has decided to campaign for the party by not contesting the elections himself which is highly appreciable, he said.
