KCR will be in jail in 20 months for corruption: Nagam

Hyderabad: BJP senior leader and National Executive member Nagam Janardhan Reddy ridiculed the claims of Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao stating that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao would rule the Telangana State for another 20 years.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Nagam said KCR Rule would not exceed another 20 months and he would land in jail for his alleged involvement in various irregularities and corruption. He said KCR, his son and IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao, son-in-law Harish Rao and daughter and Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha have become the icons of corruption in the State.

He said entire KCR family would soon face the people’s ire. He said BJP floor leader G. Kishan Reddy has exposed corruption in irrigation projects and furnished all details to Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary. Instead of acting on the information, he said that the State Government got BJP members suspended from the House.

Nagam also sought complete details of loans of nearly Rs. 62,000 Crore taken by the TRS Government in the last three years. He said that the State Government did not give the utilisation certificates on the Central funds which have given to Telangana State.

He said that the TRS Government has committed a crime by diverting nearly Rs. 52,000 crore for other works. He said several financial irregularities have been pointed out by the Controller and Auditor General (CAG) in its reports.

He also claimed that the BJP would emerge victorious in the next Assembly elections. (INN)
