‘Khadim-ul-Hujjaj’ asked to serve pilgrims with dedication

Hyderabad: Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan advised the Khadimul Hujjaj (Haj Officers) to work with dedication and devotion and serve the Haj pilgrims right from commencement of journey till their return back to Hyderabad.

Addressing a meeting here on Tuesday, the Chairman said that the Khadimul Hujjaj were an important link between the Haj pilgrims, Government and the Haj Committee.

They must assist the pilgrims in their time of need, particularly the death of pilgrim, loss of baggage or the money etc., he said.

Special Officer Prof. S. A. Shukoor said that the Khadimul Hujjaj must be in constant touch with the State Haj Committee, Consul General India Jeddah and carry on the instructions issued to them from time to time and must wear the Jackets given to them.

He said that on the unsatisfactory performance disciplinary action would be taken against them and the amount incurred on them would be recovered. (INN)
