KTR dubs BJP as ‘Bharatiya Jhoota Party’

Hyderabad: Minister K. Tarakama Rao has strongly condemned BJP National President Amit Shah for his criticism on TRS, especially on its decision to hold early elections.

Addressing a meeting of TRS workers of Sanathnagar Assembly Constituency at Jal Vihar on Sunday, KTR dubbed BJP as ‘Bharatiya Janata Party’ and said that the ‘Achche Din’, promised by Prime Minister Narender Modi, did not become a reality even after four years.

He reminded that Narender Modi, as the then Chief Minister, had dissolved Gujarat Assembly in 2002 to conduct early elections. He said it was strange that BJP was blaming TRS of committing a mistake while it did the same thing in Gujarat in 2002.

He said people have been waiting for the promised Rs. 15 lakh to be deposited in their accounts. Stating that BJP Government has failed to fulfill any promises and it has no moral right to seek votes.

KTR also criticised the proposed alliance between Congress, TDP, CPI and TJS and said people would reject the unholy alliance between the opposition parties.

He also accused Congress of having dual stand on early elections. At one side TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy has been making claims that Congress party was ready to face elections any time.

On the other, senior leader Marri Sashidhar Reddy was approaching the Election Commission of India to delay the elections.
