Hyderabad: On behalf of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Minister KT Rama Rao received the ‘Business Reformer of the Year award’ at The Economic Times Awards for Corporate Excellence 2018 in Mumbai on November 17, 2018.
The minister received the prestigious award from Vice President Venkaiah Naidu.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister stated that the award is not just to an individual but the entire state. “I accept this award on behalf of the people of Telangana,” he said.
Minister stated that CM KCR had been chosen as ‘Business Reformer of the Year’ because of the revolutionary reforms he introduced in the business sector.
At the awards ceremony, Minister KT Rama Rao spoke about the opportunities to invest in Telangana state highlighting Telangana government’s industrial policy, TS-iPASS, a single-window clearance initiative for investors.
The jury recognized CM KCR for leading Telangana to a double-digit economic growth, facilitating ease of doing business, and for executing a powerful and innovative solution to directly transfer cash support to farmers. (INN)
