Lady Haj pilgrim from Guntur dies in Makkah

Hyderabad: A lady Haj pilgrim from Guntur District, Fatima Bee Shaik, aged 71 years, died today in Makkah Mukarrama,

She had left for pilgrimage on 22nd August from Hyderabad Embarkation Point along with her son, daughter-in-law and grandson. Burial will take place in Makkah after completion of necessary formalities, informed Telangana State Haj Committee Special Officer Prof. S.A. Shukoor.

With this the number of deaths of pilgrims from Hyderabad Embarkation point rose to nine including six from Telangana, two from Andhra Pradesh and one from Karnataka. (INN)
