MANUU observes No Tobacco Day

Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University observed No Tobacco Day today by administering Pledge to its faculty members, staff and students.

The pledge ceremony was organized by the NSS Cell of MANUU. According to Prof. Mohammad Fariyad, Programme Coordinator, NSS Cell, No Tobacco day is being observed as per the guidelines issued by UGC and MHRD.

Students, research scholars and faculty members participated. They took pledge to refrain from using tobacco.

Speakers highlighted the hazards of tobacco and stressed the need to promote a healthy society.
