Met Dept predicts heat wave in Telangana till May 24

Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave warning for Telangana.

According to Met Department Hyderabad Director (In Charge) Y.K. Reddy, heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at a few places in all the districts of Telangana till May 24.

On Sunday, maximum temperature of 46.2 Degrees Celsius was recorded at Nalgonda and it was the highest temperature recorded in this summer.

The authorities have urged the people to take all precautions to protect themselves from the heat wave. (INN)
