Hyderabad: Following technical snags in the system, the Metro Rail services on the Ameerpet- Assembly station route were disrupted for some time.
Metro commuters complained that from about 11.30 am on Tuesday, services were disrupted for over 20 minutes. To reach their destinations, many passengers had to turn to autos and city buses.
Metro authorities also announced that trains are now operating normally after the snags have been fixed. The signal switch was fixed in 10 minutes, but for some time,
trains were made to operate in manual mode because all checks had to be performed and operations had to be progressively restored to CBTC automatic mode, they said. (INN)
