Hyderabad: MA&UD Minister KTR made a surprise visit to inspect the ongoing works of the Durgam Cheruvu cable-stayed bridge.
While interacting with the officials and contract agencies during the visit, Minister enquired about the developments in the ongoing works.
L&T engineers informed the Minister that the cable-stayed bridge works are in the final stage. Minister asked the officials to complete the work on time and also instructed them to increase manpower and machine power if needed.
Minister instructed the officials and the contract agencies to lay pedestrian ways, set up lighting systems and ensure complete safety measures on the bridge.
Minister KTR walked from Jubilee Hills road no 45 to Inorbit mall as a part of the surprise visit. He inspected the construction works of the flyover on road no 45.
Minister asked the officials to complete the works of the flyover on time. He also spoke to the TRANSCO officials and instructed them to expedite shifting of power lines so that the pending works of flyover could completed.
TRANSCO officials have assured the Minister that the power utilities would be shifted within two weeks.
The Minister stated that the completion of these works will help ease traffic congestion in the IT corridor.
