Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister KTR participated in the U.S.-India Business Council Destination India state-focused virtual session today. During the session, the Minister highlighted the investment opportunities in Telangana.
Minister KTR appealed to the company heads to look at the progressive states in India as individual units when they come forward to invest in the country.
Minister said that Telangana in its unique way has been attracting major investments into the state for the past six years. He stated that the Telangana Government’s unique investment opportunities and policies are helping the state achieve unprecedented growth rates.
Minister KTR said that Telangana is also one of the best states in terms of ease of doing business. Minister said that through TS-iPass the government has been giving approvals to industries within 15 days.
He stated that 80% of the companies which have received approvals have already started their work.
Minister KTR said that the Telangana government has been giving top priority to pharma, life sciences, innovation technology, textiles, aerospace, defense industries. He said that the government will provide complete assistance to the companies which come forward to invest in the state.
The Minister highlighted the efforts being put in by the government to support various industries during the ongoing pandemic situation.
Minister also mentioned the pharma and life sciences ecosystem existing in the state. He stated that India’s largest medical device park is in Telangana and mentioned the investment opportunities in the medical devices sector.
The head of American companies appreciated the Telangana state investment ecosystem and said that Telangana is an ideal destination for business opportunities.
