Tighten your belts! Hyderabad’s very own Urdu literary wits have decided to warm up a winter night through the fire of humor and satire.
Zinda Dilan-e-Hyderabad is organizing ‘Mehfile Latifa’ i.e. humor session and ‘Adabi Ijlas’ i.e. meeting of literary wits in the city on 24th and 25th of November.
The two-day annual event is dedicated to its longtime chief patron Late Nawab Shah Alam Khan, informed Sardar Md. Khan. The event has three sessions.
Adabi Ijlas, which will begin at 6.30pm in the Telugu University auditorium, is expected to be attended by notable poets and literary personalities. Dr. Aleem Khan Falaki will be convener of this session.
Latifgoi as a second session is slated to begin at 10am on 25th November in the Telugu University auditorium. Poet Sardar Asar will be its convener.
Mushaira at Lalithkala Thoranam in Public Gardens will be on 25th November from 7.30pm onwards.
Zinda Dilan-e-Hyderabad is a 55 years old organization that promotes humor and satire through various cultural activities for Urdu knowing people.
