Hyderabad: BJP senior leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Wednesday asked Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to either order a CBI probe into Miyapur land scam or resign from his post.
In a letter sent to the Chief Minister, Nagam has rejected KCR’s contention that not a single yard of government land was lost. He said if no loss has occurred then why the State Government has registered cases and made arrests and why 72 Sub-Registrars were transferred.
He challenged that he had sufficient evidence to prove irregularities in the Stamps and Registration Department wherein government lands were sold away to private parties.
Nagam said KCR fears that the role played by his family members would be exposed if CBI probes into the land scam. He also asked as to why no action was taken against TRS senior leader K. Keshava Rao who allegedly purchased government land. (INN)
