Hyderabad: Telangana TDP working president A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday inaugurated the new office of Telangana Telugu Desam in the NTR Trust Bhavan premises.
Earlier, Revanth Reddy performed prayers at the Peddamma Temple in Jubilee Hill. Later, he, along with party leaders, rode to office on bicycles. The TD leader garlanded the portrait of TD founder NT Rama Rao.
TD leader welcomed Pradeep into the party fold. Pradeep had joined the TRS and quit the party to join TD again on Sunday. Party president L Ramana welcomed the new entrants in the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramana said that the TDP worked for ideology and not for power. He said that the ruling TRS was neglecting the backward classes.
He exuded confidence that the TD would emerge strong in the days to come. He appealed the party workers to strengthen the party from the grassroots. (INN)
