Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Wednesday announced that the notification for filling up of vacant teachers’ posts would be issued in the next 15 days.
Speaking to media persons after releasing the results of SSC exams at the State Secretariat, the Deputy CM said that the State Government was in touch with the Telangana State Public Service Commission to conduct DSC exams to fill teachers’ post.
He said fresh TET was not essential as nearly 3 lakh candidates have qualified in the same test conducted earlier.
Meanwhile, addressing a separate press conference, TRS MP Balka Suman informed that notification to 8,792 teachers’ post would be issued in next 15 days.
He said that the government was also taking steps to fill vacant posts of lecturers in junior and degree colleges. He said that the services of contract lecturers too would be regularised soon.
He appealed to the people not to believe the propaganda being carried out by the opposition parties that the TRS Government was not providing jobs to the deserved candidates. (INN)
