Khammam: Minister KT Rama Rao participated in election rallies and public meetings at Sathupally, Aswaraopeta and Madhira constituencies in Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts on Wednesday.
Addressing the gathering at a public meeting in Sathupally constituency, Minister KT Rama Rao said that CM KCR aims to bring water through Sitarama Project which will benefit the farmers of the region.
Making an election promise, Minister KTR said, “To create employment opportunities for the local youth, we will to set up agriculture-based industries in Sathupally.” Criticizing the Congress and TDP alliance, Minister said that the kutami has no intentions of doing good to the people of Telangana. Their only aim is to come to power.
KTR stated that during Congress and TDP rule, farmers were given only six hours power supply. “When farmers asked for regular power supply, the erstwhile rulers shot bullets at them. But CM KCR has given 24/7 uninterrupted power supply to the farmers of the state,” he said.
“Agriculture has been the top priority of CM KCR. He provided complete support to farmers in the form of Rythu Bandhu and also made sure that farmers received a timely supply of seeds and fertilizers,” said KT Rama Rao.
KTR sought the support of the people and urged them to vote for TRS party in the upcoming elections.
Minister Tummula Nareswara Rao, MP Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, TRS MLA candidates Pidamarthi Ravi (Sathupally), Thati Venkateshwarlu (Ashwaraopet) and Lingala Kamalraj (Madhira) participated in the programs. (INN)
