Orientation camp held for Haj pilgrims

Hyderabad: The first Orientation Training Camp for Haj pilgrims by the Telangana State Haj Committee was held today at Hi-Tech Garden, Malakpet, Hyderabad.

Prof. S A Shukoor, Special Officer, Telangana State Haj Committee presided over the programme and said that Hyderabad Embarkation Point is an important Embarkation Point in the country.

Pilgrims from three states, Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh are sent for pilgrimage and this year pilgrims from Maharashtra are also likely to go from Hyderabad.

He said that the Telangana State Haj Committee had made the best arrangements for the Haj pilgrims in the country and this year also better arrangements would be made.

Distinguished scholars Moulana Mufti Khaleel Ahmed Shaik ul Jamia Nizamia was the Chief Guest. Molana Abdur Rasheed Talha and others highlighted the rituals and their significance.

Hafiz Qari Mohammed Nayeem Ahmed recited verses from Qura’an, while Hafiz Ansaar Anwar rendered Na’at. A large number of lady pilgrims also attended the Training Camp for them necessary separate arrangements were made in the adjacent Function Hall. (INN)
