Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister (Education) Kadiyam Srihari on Sunday informed that the Telangana Government has spent over Rs. 370 crore for the development of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) institutions in Telangana State.
Speaking after laying foundation stone for the construction of SC Community Building in Rayelagandi of Nagarkurnool district, the Deputy CM the government was providing all facilities to students of KGBV schools. He said quality education and food was being ensured in all the schools.
He said that the quality of education in all institutions across Telangana was raised due to the special attention paid by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao.
The Deputy CM said that the State Government has established over 500 residential schools for various communities in the State which are imparting English medium quality education to students.
TRS MLA G. Balaraju and senior officials of the district were also present on the occasion. (INN)
