Hyderabad: Excise Minister T. Padma Rao Goud met Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya at his chambers in Sharam Shakti Bhawan in New Delhi on Monday requesting him to resolve the issues pertaining to Secunderabad Cantonment Board.
Padma Rao was accompanied with members of Secunderabad Cantonment Board. He asked the Centre approve the new building bye laws and implement the same as early as possible;
Implement BRS & BPS schemes; Provide relaxations in the FSI calculations; Release the pending service charges and implement and adopt employees transfer policies from station to station within the command.
The Excise Minister also urged the Centre to implement the JNNURM and other national schemes in the cantonment boards. He also stressed on exchange of defence lands/ reclassifications of defence lands and NOC from the LMA for constructions in the surrounding areas of cantonment. (INN)
