People should feel it’s our State: Governor

Hyderabad: Speaking at the Open House programme held at Raj Bhavan to meet and greet the Governor on the New Year day on Tuesday, Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana E.S.L. Narasimhan wished the new year should bring peace, prosperity and happiness to the people of both the Telugu states.

The Governor said people should feel that it is our state and take part in the development of the state.

Telangana Home Minister Md. Mahmood Ali, Senior officers from IAS and IPS both serving and retired, members of civil society, general public came to Raj Bhavan in large numbers and greeted the Governor and the Lady Governor.

On this occasion, Governor released A Green Garland, an anthology of poems on Haritha Haaram and eco-poetry, brought out by Mamidi Harikrishna, Telangana Director of Culture was released by the Governor.
