Hyderabad: Congress senior leader and former MP V. Hanumantha Rao alleged that the reports of naxalities planning to assassinate Prime Minister Narender Modi were totally fake and they were being floatedly to counter Modi’s falling popularity among people.
Speaking to media persons in Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, Hanumantha Rao demanded an open investigation into the reports of threats to the life of Prime Minister and other BJP leaders.
He said PM Modi has lost his popularity for his failure to fulfil his electoral promises. This was evident from the results of elections held recently.
