Hyderabad: Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Prime Minister Narender Modi has implemented several bold decisions for the development of country and society during the last four years.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana BJP Headquarters on Thursday, the Union Minister said that nearly 120 companies in India were manufacturing mobile phones.
He said financial reforms have increased the tax net and more than three lakh fake companies have closed. He claimed that India, under PM Modi, has achieved financial strength and registering a fast pace growth. He said India has emerged as a global power in the last four years and top world leaders were keen to meet PM Modi today.
The Union Minister said that 31 crore poor people were linked to banking system through Jan Dhan Accounts. He said nearly 80 crore bank accounts were linked to Aadhar.
He also said that the Triple Talaq Bill was a revolutionary step by present NDA Government. He said the Bill has provided social security to women.
Commenting on Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s aspiration to become the Prime Minister, Prasad said everyone in India has a right to dream big. (INN)
