Hyderabad: President of India Ram Nath Kovind will visit Tirupati on a two-day tour from September 1.
Although the President’s tour schedule was yet to be announced officially, his visit to the temple town has been confirmed.
The President will reach Renigunta Airport in a special flight on September 1. After night halt at Tirumala, he would offer prayers to Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam on September 2. Later he will visit to Tirupati to inaugurate the Sri Padmavathi Mahila Medical College & Hospital building.
The President of India will be accompanied with Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. (INN)
