Hyderabad: South Central Railway General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of Secunderabad Railway Station and two express trains bound to different destinations on the platforms on Sunday to check on passenger amenities and facilities provided to rail travelers.
Commencing the inspection, the General Manager inspected AC coaches of Train No. 17230 Hyderabad to Thiruvanantapuram Sabari Express and checked the quality of linen supplied to passengers.
Later, he inspected Sleeper coaches and General Coaches of Train No. 17058 Secunderabad to Mumbai CSMT Devagiri Express. He extensively checked Catering arrangements, Maintenance of toilets in trains, Cleanliness in trains & station premises and Security arrangements by Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel.
The General Manager interacted with passengers and enquired about the facilities and amenities at stations and in trains. He also enquired regarding catering arrangements available at stalls and in trains.
Later, Vinod Kumar Yadav visited Coach Maintenance depot and inspected the working system of the entire depot.
Secunderabad Divisional Railway Manager Amit Varadan and other senior officials were also present during the entire inspection. (INN)
