Hyderabad: The South Central Railway (SCR) advised rail passengers to check and verify the revised train timings for their rail journey well before the start of their journey, either with the website of Integrated Enquiry No.139 or the website of the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or the website of IRCTC or by contacting an approved person at nearby reservation counter/railway stations.
The SCR told passengers that the train timings for most passenger train services have been revised for operational reasons following the introduction of regular special trains and special festival trains.
The SCR reported in a press release issued here on Sunday that there were adjustments in the timing of some of the train services originating/terminating in or passing through the zone at the starting station or path stations or destination stations.
Passengers traveling on these special trains must also conform to health guidelines such as wearing masks, using hand sanitisers, and comply with social distance requirements as recommended from time to time by the central and state governments.
In this regard, health advice may be obtained on the websites of either the IRCTC (www.irctc.co.in) or the concerned state governments. (INN)
