Hyderabad: Industries & Information Technology Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Monday informed that the second phase of T-Hub would become operational by March 2020.
Replying to a question raised by MLAs K. P. Vivekanand, Balka Suman and Bigala Ganesh during Question Hour in State Legislative Assembly, the minister said that the T-Hub, the Technology Incubator promoted by Government of Telangana has achieved significant landmark since it has started in November 2015.
Buoyed by its success, the government has decided to create T-Hub Phase-II which will be constructed to provide 3,50,000 sqft of space for 4,000 people.
It is being established in three acres land in Raidurg area, at a total project cost of Rs. 276.22 crores. More than 500 startups are incubating in T-Hub. This has given employment to over 2000 people, the minister said.
KTR said that the T-Hub Phase II would incubate more than 1000 startups at any given time. (INN)
