Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari informed that the notification for Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TSTET) for recruitment of 8,792 sanctioned posts of teachers will be issued on June 10.
Speaking to media persons along with Telangana State Public Service Commission chairman Ganta Chakrapani on Wednesday, the Deputy CM said that the TSTET will be held on July 23 and results will be declared on August 5.
He said that the decision to hold the second TSTET was taken to provide an opportunity to 26,100 candidates who passed D.Ed and B.Ed qualified in the year 2016-17.
He said after the completion of TSTET process, the TSPSC would issue the notification for the conduct of DSC examination.
The Deputy CM clarified that those who have qualified in TET held earlier need not apply again. However, they can appear for second TET for better scoring.
The payment of fees can be made at TS Online or payment gateway from June 12 to 22. The TSTET Information Bulletin can be downloaded from June 12 onwards while the online submission of applications can be done from 13th to 23rd June.
Hall tickets can downloaded from July 17 and the examination will be held from July 23. The timing for Paper-1 is from 9.30 am to 12.00 noon and for Paper-II it will be from 2.30 p.m. to 5.00 pm. (INN)
