Hyderabad: Telangana State Haj Committee (TSHC) Chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan informed that the selection of Assistant Haj Officers and Haj Assistants for Haj 2018 would take place from 29th March to 2nd April at Haj House, Nampally.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, the TSHC Chairman said that it was for the first time that interviews are being held at Hyderabad. A six member delegation led by Mohammed Nadeem, Joint Secretary Ministry of Minority Affairs, would interview the candidates.
“Everyday around 200 candidates belonging to Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Tamil Nadu would attend the interview’’, they said.
Masiullah Khan further said that Qurrah (Draw of Lots) for accommodation in the Rubat of Hyderabad would be held in the first week of April 2018 at Hyderabad.
He said accommodation in Rubat would be provided to 1286 pilgrims who opted Azeeziah category from out of a total of 6,576 pilgrims belonging to erstwhile Nizam state 43 districts, 31 from Telangana, eight in Maharashtra and four in Karnataka state. Out of 1286 seats 10% would be reserved for the Nizam Royal Family, they added. (INN)
